You get what you pay for

I bought this machine on sale for 12 bucks, and got my money's worth. It's really only good for straight seams, and it was effective in helping me put together some simple throw pillows and my curtains. I must say that the machine is difficult to thread, the tension really can't be adjusted, and there's no light. But it does operate like an electric sewing machine, with a pedal, bobbin underneath the sew plate, and motorized foot that feeds the fabric evenly.
Pros: Meets expectations, inexpensive
Cons: cheap construction, no light
Yes, I recommend this product.
