Great product! Really helps!

I got this product because of sciatica (pain in buttocks and down back of leg). After just the first use, the pain was better. I tried all 8 different programs, and some feel better than others - but because there are 8, you have a lot of choices. It's important to wet the pads before you place them on your skin, and also to place the device so the pads lay fully against your skin. Once I used it after using lotion - that was a mistake! it hurt! [I had forgotten the instructions say not to use with lotions or creams.] It took me a while to figure out how to get the device to start, even after turning it on. Press a channel then the + key. The instructions don't tell you this.
Pros: Great value, Meets expectations, helps pain
Cons: locks too quickly
Yes, I recommend this product.

This product is easy to use and works well. I am happy that I don't have to buy the electric pads seperately, they are attached to the easy to wear back brace.
The price is right, I would highly recommend it.
Pros: Great value, Meets expectations
Yes, I recommend this product.

Worth the money!

This unit is rather remarkable! I read the other reviews before I bought the init and I was a little apprehensive about buying it because of the one bad review. Pay no attention to that review. I really don't think that guy even read the directions. Now that being said, the one thing I do agree is about the intensity level of the unit. The first time I turned it on, it actually caught me off guard with the strength of just level 1. I can go up to level 2 and still be in a perfect comfort level. Any higher and we're talking Tazer® Belt Bro ~Have any friends you want to get even with ;)
The 8 different setting are great! they really work. I'm comparing this unit to the ones that I've had used on me during physical therapy. I have the same result of pain relief and comfort level after my treatment.
Make sure you read the directions thoroughly! You have to dampen the pads before putting the belt on. this is why I think the other reviewers are having problems with it disconnecting on them. I haven't had ANY problems with connection. Plus it gives you a better, smoother, broader electrical pulse from the TENS unit.
Pros: Great value, Meets expectations, great intensity level, comfortable belt, easy to use, quiet, no consumable parts to replace, no sticky pads, can wear under clothes
Cons: i think the unit locks to quickly
Yes, I recommend this product.

AMAZING

I was apprehensive about trying this but it is fabulous. I own a tens with 2 electrodes that fall off my back. This is a belt so it stays on your back with 4 electrodes in it.
Like the other reviewer said, it does shut off at times, if I lean forward to do something and it loses contact with my skin, one pulse will stop but its a simple press of the button to start that pulse again.
I found the intensity amazing. Usually I have to jack my tens and my chiro's tens way up but I am quite pleased on the lowest level on this unit.
If you get experience pain like the other reviewer said, simply move the belt as you are sensitive.
It truly is quite a relief to me. And when it was 40% off, that was an amazing price online!
Pros: Great value, Meets expectations
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great company, bad product

I love CVS. Great employees, great products and prices that average better than most.
So I didn't hesitate to purchase the "CVS Back Pain System,"
Unfortunately, it has nothing in common with CVS, The unit:
a) is inconsistent (meaning sometimes one channel turns off while the other continues on, sometimes selecting power 2 means 2 other times nothing, sometime the only way to turn it off is to remove the batteries.)
b) Can sometime cause such uncomfort that leads to one ripping the belt off their body
Seriously . . . for items from name brand companies like Johnson & Johnson, go to CVS, but for something like a tens unit . . .. look elsewhere.
Cons: poor, lousy product
No, I do not recommend this product.
