Inexpensive and Thorough

I saw this bracelet had a low rating. I had searched all over the Internet for a bracelet, and I decided this would do the job, at a good price, and was versatile.
It is a good bracelet because it allows you write the info onto paper, slide it into a plastic covering, and then put it inside the bracelet.. My allergic issues can change. So if I were to get a bracelet that is engraved, I might have info to add or subtract in the future.
With this bracelet, I was able to list my allergies, docs, contacts, phone numbers, my address, RX, blood type, and more on the included paper. You can always get more paper if you need to change info.
If you don't want to spend a fortune but want to be covered, then get this. When I am not wearing it, such as when I swim or bathe, I put it on my key chain. I feel covered should I end up in the hospital or the like.
Pros: Great value, Meets expectations, will keep up with changing conditions
Cons: paper could get wet
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great if you're in a rush or unconscious & want thorough info for ER staff.

This product has a very strong stainless steel bracelet and chain. The length on the chain can be snipped off with household pliers to a comfortable fit. The chain clasp and info holder section close tightly, which is appropriate. If my aged parent is rushed to the ER, any EMT or triage nurse can EASILY open it with their bandage scissors (or tip of car keys for that matter). The plastic cover for the info paper, I reinforced with a little piece of sandwich bag just in case. My 74yr old father has worn this bracelet consecutively for three (3) months, without removing it from his wrist. It has held up in the shower and swimming pool. I know that if he falls out when I am not with him, emergency personnel will have the needed info in that bracelet, including my name and phone number. I highly recommend this product as it is usable by emergency staff. I also bought one for my husband, who is 50yrs old, diabetic, and on many meds. While alone and out of state, he ended up in the ER. The nurse found this product very helpful! My husband had a broken ankle and didn't feel like remembering his health info, so he opened up the bracelet and handed her the small sheet of paper! This medical ID bracelet is a small price for preplanning some piece of mind for you and your loved ones!!
Pros: Great value, Meets expectations
Yes, I recommend this product.

Too large, not adjustable

I don't think this is a helpful product. It is "one size fits all" which means it could be so big on some people that it slides right off the wrist. Also it is not easy to open the compartment, which I see as a drawback for a bracelet meant to be worn by people with a health condition. I bought this on an impulse but I will search for another ID bracelet or wristband that will suit my needs better. I am usually happy with everything I find at CVS but this product seems inferior.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Adjusts by link, compartment helps keep info dry.

Any excess chain can be snipped off with household pliers or left to dangle like a charm bracelet. Compartment closes snugly to help keep info paper dry. It can be easily opened with tip of car keys or bandage scissors/hemostats (emergency personnel). The two CVS medical ID bracelets that I have bought for my loved ones have worked out great and even been put to use by ER staff (who commented positively on the product).
